FREE: 300HR YTT Info Session- ONLINE OR IN PERSON

Join us on Monday, February 3rd at 7:15-8:00pm ET for this free informational session with Colleen Saidman and Rodney Yee to learn more about our upcoming 300HR Advanced Yoga Teacher Training program which begins on March 14th and can be taken entirely online, in-person, or a combination of both. Please join this session if you are slightly curious about this training, on-the-fence about registering, or even if you have already enrolled. The session can be attended virtually via Zoom or in-person at the studio in Sag Harbor, NY.

NOTICE: This Info session happens directly after Rodney’s Monday Advanced Workshop (5:30-7:00pm ET) which all students attending the YTT Info session are invited to attend for FREE –  either in-person or via Zoom. You are welcome to participate in the workshop or simply observe and then stay for the YTT Info session afterwards. Please email training@yogashanti.com if you’d like us to register you for the workshop beforehand with Rodney.

Manual Adjustments: Seeing & Understanding Bodies

This training takes place in person at Chelsea Piers Fitness, Flatiron in New York City. We will build a deeper understanding of manual adjustments by using our hands, eyes, and knowledge to align poses that produce more ease and harmony. Not only will this enhance your ability to teach, but it will also reinvigorate your own practice. To be keener in your observation and confident in your touch is to be more skillful in your offering as a teacher. Join us for this illuminating journey of understanding and sharing.  Please note that this training takes place at Chelsea Piers Fitness Flatiron in New York City (308 Park Avenue South, 2 nd Floor, New York, NY 10010) and is designed for students who have already completed a Yoga Teacher Training program. Serious practitioners looking to continue their personal studies in yoga are also welcome to attend.. This training qualifies for Yoga Alliance 15 hours.

Yoga Shanti 300Hr Advanced Teacher Training (Spring 2025)

300HR ADVANCED TEACHER TRAINING

The Essence of Yoga: Ancient Wisdom for our Modern Times is a deep immersive experience that will move you beyond the fundamentals of yoga into the realm of subtlety and increased wonder. The program includes 3.5months of direct study with Colleen Saidman and Rodney Yee, with the option to participate entirely onlinein-person, or a combination of both! Individual attention and mentorship is a unique and supportive aspect of this training. The community that develops is significant, supportive, fun, and long-lasting! Colleen and Rodney will guide you in establishing and refining a strong foundation for a life-long study and teaching of yoga. The curriculum will include a deeper look into your daily home practice of asana, pranayama, and meditation. Your teaching skills including sequencing, alignment and seeing and understanding bodies will be honed. Anatomy, philosophy, and chanting are important components included in the curriculum. There will be special guest appearances from some of the most renowned yoga teachers of our time.

25HRS CHELSEA PIERS

This training takes place at Chelsea Piers Flatiron in New York City: In all yoga classes, our goal is to provide a well-structured sequence, a safe practice, and true alignment that is accessible to all students. This continuing education program is a valuable opportunity for both new and experienced teachers to refine their skills in the classroom. We will focus on fundamental knowledge of sequencing poses to create balance and ease in the body, as well as steadiness of the mind, heart and nervous system. Understanding the anatomy and physiology of the body is essential for sequencing in a way that ensures safety and depth. While intuition is important, it is equally important to follow basic principles when developing classes to prevent injuries.
